Terms of service
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Introduction
WeRepresent provides a civic technology platform that connects constituents with their elected officials and candidates through a pledge-based accountability model. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WeRepresent’s platform, website, services, and features (collectively, “Services”). By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Services are provided by WeRepresent and its affiliates.
2. Privacy
You agree that WeRepresent may collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including information about your interactions across our platform. By using the Services, you consent to such collection and use.
3. Our Services
(a) Scope of Services
WeRepresent builds technology to empower constituents and hold elected officials accountable. Our platform enables users to make pledges tied to the legislative actions of their representatives, track politician voting records and policy positions, and engage with their democracy in a transparent, results-driven way. Some features require account creation, while others are available without an account. WeRepresent is a technology platform and is not a political action committee, political party, or campaign finance entity.
(b) Service Modification
WeRepresent continuously develops new features and may add, remove, change, or discontinue certain functionalities at any time. We cannot guarantee the ongoing availability of any particular feature or service except where separately committed in writing.
